I think this is the best street portrait I ever took. The guy was just passing by the Russian Pancake day stands in Temple Bar. He asked if I am intending to pass his picture to KGB
I am usually driving to work through Phoenix Park and sometimes stop to take some pictures. That time (this February) it was plenty of water and light everytwhere.
This February an amateur theater of Natasha Chirkova came to our club with one of the Chekhov’s plays. I guess this is being done for the second year constitutes a tradition already. The guys are great and plenty of opportunity for photography too.
Here is one of my holiday photos from Lanzarote. I want to come back!
Here I tried to achieve something totally different with Olya (who was a model for the WWII session below) and her husband Rustam. Something out of regular “happy family” shots.
I was experimenting with different lighting conditions in studio on my own wife last November. I love this particular intense result of harsh lighting!
Here is the street photo made in Amsterdam last October. Just to add some variety to the recent series of three portraits.
This is a result of another thematic studio session in Smena. I think the image looks strong and brings a lot of memories for the people with exUSSR background.
This portrait that looks to me rather like a late renaissance painting was made during “single light source” studio session in our Smena club.
This is also shot on Inis Mór. Ksu is as beautiful as always!
