In July we decided to go up Luggala (Fancy Mountain, the one above Lough Tay) with my friend Tom. The idea was to take a non-standard way right of Lough Tay as against to the way from the path leading to Lough Dan that normal people take
Because the time was quite limited (it was a working day morning) we never reached the summit, but came across quite a nice view. Here it is.
This place is amazing. It’s a sculpture park in Wicklow mountains. The sculptures are based on some hindu/buddhist philosophy. Most of them are quite scary, but despite their look they are supposed to illustrate some positive concepts.
This one is called “Bodhisattva” or “Decay”. As I understand it illustrates the narrow path of bodhisattva (i.e. buddha to be) who is decaying as a sansara being but struggles (if the word “struggle” could be applied to bodhisattvas) to stay in this world to help all living creatures to escape the wheel of suffering.
This image is taken by occasion. My friends own a RIB boat and they were given us a ride around Ireland Eye. This is taken when we landed on one of the beaches of the island. Olya is moving the boat while everybody else is ashore already.
This is taken on the way to Cork.
Normally you would apply some serious editing to make such a picture look so dramatic. In this case it did not need any editing. I love Irish sky.
And this is one of the most beautiful sunsets I ever seen. You probably are not even suppose to take pictures of such things, as no camera in the world could communicate such a beauty.
One more shot from our photo-trip to Connemara
Also we’ve been to Connemara in the end of May. Lovely place.
And this one is taken during some street photography session in Temple Bar
Have not posted anything here since May. Shame on me.
So, be prepared for a massive flood of pictures for half a year!
This one is a snapshot taken during some party on a roof nearby Mount Joy Square, Dublin. I don’t remember the names of the girls though
